“A Maze’N Math” is a dynamic and challenging educational game that makes learning math concepts fun and engaging. This game promotes the development of critical thinking skills, fosters mathematical fluency, and instills a sense of logical reasoning.

Here’s how to play the game:

The game board is essentially a labyrinth, filled with numbers, special symbols, and doors. Your task is to navigate a red game piece through this maze to eliminate all numbers on the board.

1. Moving the Red Piece:
The red piece absorbs numbers it moves onto. Depending on the existing value of the red piece and the number it touches, there are a few possibilities:

• If the red piece’s value is zero, it takes on the value of the number it lands on. For example, if the red piece is initially zero and it lands on a square with the number 3, its value changes to 3.
• If the red piece’s value matches the number it lands on, it resets to zero. For instance, if the red piece has a value of 7 and it lands on the number 7, its value reverts back to zero.
• If the red piece’s value is larger than the number it lands on, it will increase by that number’s value. For example, if the red piece’s value is 3 and it lands on a square with the number 5, the value of the red piece becomes 8.
• If the red piece’s value is smaller than the number it lands on, it will change to the difference between the two. For example, if the red piece’s value is 3 and it lands on a square with the number 5, the red piece’s value becomes 2.

2. Opening Blue Doors:
To pass through a blue door, the red piece must have at least the dollar (\$) value displayed on the door. The red piece’s value will then decrease by that dollar amount.

3. Yellow Bonus Pieces:
Moving onto a yellow bonus piece will alter the red piece’s value according to the mathematical formula displayed on the yellow square. This can lead to unexpected surprises and new strategies!

4. Grey Passages:
Grey passages with the “=” (equal to), “<” (less than), or “>” (greater than) symbols are special passageways. The red piece must meet the condition represented by the symbol to pass through.

“A Maze’N Math” is not only a game of numbers but also a test of strategy and forethought. With each move, players must weigh the immediate reward of absorbing a number against the possible future benefits of maintaining their current value. It encourages players to think ahead, build mathematical intuition, and have a lot of fun along the way!
