Info About Goat to Bed (Partitioning 20)
Get ready for a hilarious tug-of-war in Goat to Bed!
It’s bedtime, but half the baby goats are still up playing with their gadgets! This game is a fun showdown where two teams battle to either get all the goats to bed or keep them all up to play. We can kick things off with the Teacher vs. The Class, and then move into student or team matchups.
The goal is simple: be the first team to get all 20 baby goats onto your side of the screen.
Here’s how you play:
The game starts with ten goats peacefully in bed and ten naughty ones still playing. One team will be the “Babysitters” trying to put the goats to sleep, and the other team will be the “Naughty Goats” trying to keep the party going.
On your turn, just hit the “Go” button to roll the dice. The number you roll is how many goats you get to snatch from the other team’s side and drag over to yours! But your turn isn’t over yet. To lock in your move, you have to report the new totals by solving a quick number sentence about how many goats are now in bed and how many are playing.
In Level 2, things get more strategic. Instead of rolling the dice and hoping for a high number, you can choose the “Play It Safe” option. This lets you automatically move 4 goats to your side—no risk involved! Will you take the guaranteed move or risk it for a bigger reward?
If the bedtime battle drags on, a special “Double Goat Token” will appear for each team. You can only use it once, but it will double the result of your dice roll, giving you a chance for a massive comeback!
The first team to get all 20 goats on their side and complete the final number sentence wins the ultimate bedtime battle!
