Info About Idea Workshop
You and your friends gather around a neat little deck of idea cards, each one prompting you to invent something wild—maybe a self-heating lunchbox, maybe a robot dog that doubles as a librarian. On your turn you draw a challenge card, flip the timer, and have five minutes to scribble down your pitch. No fancy art skills required—just a pen, a paper sheet, and a willingness to stretch your imagination. When time’s up, everyone presents their brainchild in the most convincing (or entertaining) way possible.
Once the pitches are out, it’s voting time: each player secretly votes for the idea they think is best, most feasible, or simply the funniest. You tally the votes, hand out idea tokens, and pass the deck to the next challenger. Over three rounds, you’ll see everything from “self-cooking oven mitts” to “hovering lawnmowers,” and every round tends to get more delightfully absurd as people feed off each other’s creativity.
What really makes Idea Workshop click is how easy it is to jump in but how much room there is to get carried away. You’ll laugh at the outliers, marvel at someone’s pitch that actually feels plausible, and maybe even spark a real invention idea down the road. It’s perfect for casual game nights, team-building sessions, or any time you want to remind yourself that a little playful brainstorming can go a long way.
