About Learn the Shapes Game
In Learn the Shapes, one big shape appears in the middle of the screen. It might be a circle, a square, or a star. Below the shape you see a Play button. When you tap that button, the game says the name of the shape and shows the word under the picture. You can listen and say the word along with the voice.
On the left and right sides of the screen you see arrows. Those arrows move you to the next shape or the one before. You tap an arrow, see a new shape, then hit Play again to hear its name. There are thirteen shapes in total, so you get a mix of simple ones and fun ones like hearts and diamonds. Because there is only one shape on the screen at a time, your eyes can focus on its outline.
The rules in Learn the Shapes are easy to remember. A home button takes you back to the start. A sound button lets you turn sounds off once you know the shapes well. You can go through the list of shapes many times in one sitting or just a few at a time. The game feels like a small picture book that talks, and kids can use it without help after a short demo.
