In Letter Mahjong, you sit in front of a big pile of tiles with letters and numbers. Your job is to find two tiles that show the same thing, like two A’s or two 5’s. You tap the first tile, then tap the second one that matches. Both tiles disappear, and the board opens up a little more. You keep doing this until no tiles are left on the screen.
Not every tile is ready to use. A tile has to be free before you can pick it. That means nothing sits on top of it, and at least one side is open. So you do not just grab any match you see. You think a bit and pick matches that open new spaces. After a few rounds, you start seeing patterns in the letters and where they hide.
Letter Mahjong also helps you see the alphabet many times. You look at letters over and over while you hunt for pairs. This makes each letter shape feel more familiar. The controls are easy to understand, and there are many ways the tiles can be arranged. You can play for a few minutes, finish a board, and then come back later for another round.
