About Basket Goal Math

Starting the Game:
When you first open the game, you’ll see a basketball button on the welcome screen. Click on it to start playing! There’s a music button in the top right corner if you want to turn the sounds on or off. And if you’re unsure about how to play, just press the question mark button there. Don’t worry about keeping track of your high score – your web browser will remember it for you!

Game Controls:
If you’re playing on a computer, use your mouse and click on a basketball hoop when you want to shoot. If you’re using a tablet or phone, just tap on the hoop with your finger. There are some helpful things at the top of your screen: your score, a math problem to solve, and a timer with basketballs (these are your lives). In the bottom right, there’s a home button. If you click on it, you’ll go back to the first screen.

Game Play:
Before you start, choose how hard you want the game to be: Easy, Medium, Hard, or Very Hard. Then, decide what type of math you want: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, or all of them. To play, look at the math problem at the top and find the hoop with the right answer. Try to get as many right as you can in 3 minutes! Each time you get one right, you get 10 points. But be careful, you only have 3 basketball lives. If you get a problem wrong, you’ll lose one. If you lose all 3, the game ends, even if there’s still time left. When the game is over, you can see how well you did!
