The Countdown number Game.

The contestants In the TV game show Countdown have 30 seconds to reach a target number using six given numbers. Rules for this game are as follows:

  • Hit your target with precision: ten points.

If two competitors are the same distance from the target both score points.

The contestants have 30 seconds to form the longest possible word using nine given Letters In the Letters Game of Countdown. Rules for this game are as follows:

  • Nouns hyphenated words and foreign words not accepted as English are not allowed.

  • Contestants are encouraged to select a minimum of three and no more than five vowels.

In Both games contestants must develop quick thinking and problem solving skills testing their math skills and vocabulary knowledge within a limited timeframe.
