About the Game.

The Countdown number Game.

The contestants In the TV game show Countdown have 30 seconds to reach a target number using six given numbers. Rules for this game are as follows:

Contestants don’t need to use all the numbers provided.
Each number can be used only once.
Only addition subtraction multiplication and division are permitted.
It’s four big numbers: 25, 50, 75, and 100.
There are 20 small numbers: Two each of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.

The Scoring system:

Within 10 of the target.: five points.
Within 5 of the target.: seven.
Hit your target with precision: ten points.

If two competitors are the same distance from the target both score points.

The Countdown letter Game.

The contestants have 30 seconds to form the longest possible word using nine given Letters In the Letters Game of Countdown. Rules for this game are as follows:

Nouns hyphenated words and foreign words not accepted as English are not allowed.
It is The New Oxford Dictionary used for this purpose.
Contestants are encouraged to select a minimum of three and no more than five vowels.

The Scoring system:

The winner of The longest word scores points equal to The number of letters in The word.
The word 9 scores 18 points.
Both contestants score points If they have the same length of words.

In Both games contestants must develop quick thinking and problem solving skills testing their math skills and vocabulary knowledge within a limited timeframe.
