“Galactic Geeks” is an immersive and thrilling game that starts with a simple click or tap on the screen, leading you to the welcome screen where you can begin your interstellar adventure by selecting the Start Game option. This game, designed to be accessible on both desktop and touchscreen devices, offers players the flexibility to control the game easily, whether it’s through a mouse click or a finger tap on the screen. On the welcome screen, you’ll find convenient controls at the top right corner, including a speaker button to toggle the game’s audio, an enlarge button to switch between windowed and full-screen modes, and a ranking button at the bottom right to view the game’s leaderboard.
The game’s user interface is straightforward and includes essential indicators such as the number of remaining lives, remaining questions, and your current score, along with the speaker and enlarge buttons. In “Galactic Geeks,” you embark on an exciting journey where you first choose from 10 different alien characters. After selecting your character and pressing play, you dive into a universe of questions and challenges. The game presents multiple-choice questions with four options each. Answering correctly allows you to defeat the enemy alien, while a wrong answer results in the alien attacking you. You have 20 seconds to answer each question, and to win the game, you need to answer all 70 trivia questions with less than three mistakes.
The lives system in “Galactic Geeks” adds to the excitement. You start with three lives, each represented by a heart on the top left corner of the screen. Incorrect answers or running out of time will cost you a heart, and losing all your hearts leads to game over. The scoring system rewards knowledge and speed – you earn three points for every correct answer, plus a bonus of up to 10 points for defeating the enemy alien, depending on the quickness of your response.
